John is managing principal at Snowden Capital Advisors. John creates business opportunities, fosters relationships, and defines client-focused priorities. Previously, he was Chairman and co-founder of Clearbrook Global Advisors. John guided Clearbrook from a start-up to an institutional investment advisory firm with over $25 billion in assets under advice and $2 billion in assets under administration. John held senior executive positions with Merrill Lynch in London, Dubai, and New York. He was Chairman of Latin America and head of International Private Client Product and Marketing. John started his career as a Financial Consultant in London where he ran one of the most successful advisory practices in London. He managed the firm's flagship N.Y. International Office as well as the London and Dubai offices and was a highly successful recruiter of Financial Advisors. John has a BA from Bucknell University. He co-founded the Bobby Campbell Foundation, a program focused on providing education funding and support for at-risk children through the sport of lacrosse. He also served as President of the American Business Council in Dubai. John and his wife reside in Princeton, New Jersey and have four daughters.

Denmark West was president of digital media at Black Entertainment Television (BET Network) until November 2011. Prior to BET, he was executive vice president, operations, global digital media for MTV Networks. In this role, he aids the development of key strategies aimed at the future growth of the company, and is a key driver behind MTVN’s proactive movement into the multiplatform consumer environment. West has a proven track record of formulating winning strategies, investments and partnerships. He has managed public and private equity investments, acquisitions and divestitures and joint venture creation. Prior to joining MTV Networks, he served as acting chief of staff for the Windows Client Division at Microsoft. In that position, West played central roles in the analysis of investment opportunities and long-range planning. Before joining Microsoft, West worked for the investment firm Goldman Sachs in distressed securities trading in the fixed income division. West, who earned his bachelor’s degree and his master’s degree in business administration from Harvard, serves on the board of Dress For Success, an organization that seeks to advance low-income women’s economic and social development and encourages self-sufficiency through career development and employment retention. He also serves as a board member of an affiliate of the IMPACT Coalition, a not-for-profit organization that advocates debate as a key to success in building healthier communities and tomorrow’s leaders.

Theresa Hamacher

Theresa draws on her extensive background in the mutual fund business to help industry professionals stay abreast of current trends and to demystify investment management for the general reader. She is the President of NICSA, an investment industry association which provides forums where professionals can connect to develop and discuss best practices.She is also the author of books and articles about the investment management industry, including The Fund Industry: How Your Money is Managed (with Bob Pozen.) Her background is in investment management. Before joining NICSA, she served as Chief Investment Officer for Pioneer Investments and for Prudential Mutual Funds. She began her career in the fund industry in 1983 as a securities analyst and portfolio manager.

Santiago Satrústegui is a founder, partner and Executive Chairman of Abante Asesores, an independent financial group created in 2001 and focused on financial asset management services and financial advice for institutional and private banking clients. He was previously a partner of AB Asesores, the largest Spanish independent financial company, acquired by Morgan Stanley in 1998, under his general management. Since 1989, Santiago Satrústegui’s career has been focused on the financial industry, especially on the Financial Asset Management and Private Banking businesses. Santiago has a degree in Law and Business Administration from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas.

Prior to joining Foley & Lardner Stuart Fross was a partner in K&L Gates' Boston office where he concentrated his practice on securities laws and regulations, as part of the Investment Management Practice Group.
Mr. Fross' main focus is investment managers and pooled investment vehicles, including US registered open-end, closed end and exchange traded funds, bank collective investment funds (with an emphasis a stable value funds), UCITS funds, as well as private funds, organized in the US and offshore. Mr. Fross has extensive experience in equity, high-income and fixed income trading operations, as well as with distribution related issues for registered and unregistered funds. Prior to joining K&L Gates, Mr. Fross was Deputy General Counsel and Senior Vice President for Strategic Initiatives with Fidelity Management & Research Company and Assistant Secretary of the Fidelity Group of Funds. Mr. Fross held several additional positions at Fidelity, including four years as Deputy General Counsel and Senior Vice President to the Legal Product Management division, during which time he was responsible for all registration statement filings for the Fidelity Funds. From 1998 to 2001, Mr. Fross was General Counsel and Senior Vice President for Fidelity International Limited, where he supervised Fidelity's legal, compliance and administrative staff located in Europe, Asia and Bermuda. Mr. Fross is also a co-inventor of a business method patent related to active ETFs. The patent covers technology for an ETF to invest in an actively managed mutual fund and for the ETF sponsor to create a creation and redemption basket that approximates the holdings, risks and return characteristics of the mutual fund without disclosing its entire portfolio
